Venus Prado has been walking the road less traveled for the past few years and admits that the journey can be quite challenging. In moments of uncertainty, she is learning to trust her internal creative compass and is following its voice, being guided by the artistic notes only she can hear! When she finally arrives at whatever place she is meant to be, she will TWIRL wildly onstage! Venus is the owner of Weeping Woman Gallery at the Blue Star Arts Complex. She holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from St. Mary's University and is licensed as a Psychotherapist. Her poetry is published in Voices Along the River (2002/2003/2004/2005), Desahogate, and The Dreamcatcher. Venus is honored that her friends have embraced her writings and used their voices to bring her words to life. She is blessed to have the support of her family and friends in all her creative endeavors!
